A Mid-April Update from The Market on Main ☕🌸

Spring is finally here, and things around The Market on Main are starting to feel busy in the best way.

We opened up the drink side of things on Friday, April 3rd, and wow — we hit the ground running. I had two drinks in my shoes by 8am… what a time. 😂

I just want to say thank you all for such an amazing first couple of weeks — we couldn’t have asked for better support!

We have so many flavor options, and let’s be honest… it can get a little overwhelming trying to choose. So we put together some favorites to make it easier (and to give you a place to start if you’re not sure what to order).

We’re taking this month to learn the ins and outs and get a feel for foot traffic so we can better gauge our hours moving forward. Some days we may close early due to sports or appointments — I am a mother first and foremost, and God willing, my girl will never not see me in the crowd.

I imagine I’ll be getting some help in here over the next couple of months, but right now I need to run everything myself for a bit — fix the kinks and figure out the chaos. If we don’t have something, just let me know! I’m more than happy to add new flavors or drinks. I’d also love to expand into food items, but one step at a time…

Operations on the coffee and drinks side will run under the name “Lyn’s on Main.” So if you see cups marked with that name, you’ll know where it came from! There’s a story behind Lyn’s, and I can’t wait to share more on that soon.

Right now, we’re still working through some much-needed updates throughout the store. The ceilings are getting a refresh, and we can’t wait for you to see how much better everything is going to look in the next few weeks. We’ve also added a seating area if you want to take a few minutes (or hours — no judgment here 😉) to rest, reset, and take a break in your day.

Once these updates are done, I’m hoping to be open 7 days a week… but for now, Sundays are still my day to cry in a corner 😂 (kidding… kind of).

Outside of the store, it finally feels like we’re stepping into one of our favorite times of year — food trucks, camping, golf, community events, and being out and about. There’s just something about spring that makes everything feel a little more alive.

As always, I’m so thankful for this community and for each of you who continue to show up, shop small, and support this dream. It truly means more than you know.

I know this is a long read, but if you’ve made it this far and you’re looking for a sign to start putting yourself first… this is it. Do it. Put your faith in God, trust yourself, and go for it.

If you ever need encouragement or ideas — call me. Let’s talk. Let’s help each other. I’ve made plenty of mistakes and learned a few things the hard way, but it’s always community over competition for me. Always.

I only ever want our communities to thrive. We need more kindness, more support, and more people willing to lift each other up. This isn’t me vs. you — this is all of us building something better together.

Small towns have so much to offer — from the charm of Main Street to the people who call it home.

So anyways… enough chitter chatter for now.
If you’re looking for something to do, stop in, grab a drink, browse around, and say hi — we’d love to see you.

Come hang out 🤍

— Kaycee
